A Giveaway and the Last Mention of BlogHer08

Back in March, I posted about my love for the online photo editing website called http://www.picnik.com/. Picnik is a fast, fun, and easy way to edit pictures online and save them to your computer. Click on the link above to see the amazing things I did with a poorly processed photo. The Picnik people were at BlogHer and I approached them to share how many emails I received and comments posted after publishing that step by step tutorial I gave. They were all smiles.

They gave me a free year of Picnik Premium. Yay!

I am giving away two subscriptions for you. Yay! Check out to see what I did with some of my favorite shots from the weekend. Picture Perfect.

Take this picture of Maria, me, and Kim. It was pretty perfect as is, so I added a dream like haze as a border and added a watermark.

This picture of my BlogHer room mate Don Mills Diva just needed a cute border. I also whitened our teeth making my husband proud.

Ali is just so flipping cute and I had stomach issues in this picture and looked not so cute. I added a fun border and played around with the cropping tool. I liked the way we looked in black and white so I kept it simple.

This picture of SoapBox Mom, Kim, me holding 2 pictures of Kelley and a glass of vino, BusyDad, and VDog needed some classy censorship before posting on Classy Chaos. I added the same fun soft haze frame I used before.

Sweet Kellan and I posed for a picture in the lobby. I played around with Sepia and added a watermark.

Finally, a picture of Mr. Lady and I. Do you see how awesome my teeth look? I brightened them up using the whitening tool and made an appointment to see my husband.

GIVEAWAY....
As for my last post ever about BlogHer 2008 I would like to giveaway a FREE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION TO PICNIK PREMIUM to those readers that did not attend the conference. I have two to give away. Just leave me a comment here between now and Wednesday night.

YAY!!! The people from PICNIK just handed over FIVE MORE subscriptions via email. As of 2:30 EST on Tuesday have a total of SEVEN to give away. YAY!!!!

PS. You see that list of top commentators on Classy Chaos, in the left sidebar? Yes? I will be frequenting those blogs weekly. Yay! Jumping up and down with anticipation. Yay!!!!

I have been a faithful Picasa user for years. And I am prfessional photographer! But sometimes I just don't want to fire up the big ol photoshop ya know? Now having discovered Picnik I am buzzing with excitement...and hope I can win!

I've just gotten into the blogging thing so I've got to learn how to do all the cool stuff!! I hope I win!!!

Isaac and Gracie LOVE to play with Picnik all the time. Isaac likes to make pictures all weird and screwy with their neat tools and Gracie likes to add unicorns and hearts to her face with the shapes option. Neat!

I'm sure they would love me forever if I won that subscription...I wouldn't be so sad about it myself.

Great pictures by the way. No shock there, but they did make my bottom lip stick out a little further that I couldn't go!!!!

MarĂa said...

Love picnik!
Thank you so very much for posting a decent photo of me. LOL!

Natalie said...

No need to enter me in the contest, I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for sharing the pictures! Believe it or not, I have not seen many yet and I loved seeing my favorite bloggers together (Although I would have liked to have been there too!)

Mr Lady said...

Yeah, I'm not entering either, but I wanted to tell you that the ONLY reason I will let you keep that awful picture of me up is that you look so freaking unbelievably cute in it that no one will see me anyway. Damn it, you're hot.

Tootsie Farklepants said...

My life has changed every since you introduced us to Picnik! I lurves them.

lattemommy said...

I haven't got a sweet bloody clue about photography, let alone photo editing. However, if I win this little contest of yours, I might have to give it a whirl and start posting some photos on my blog...

By the way - great pics!

Love the classy censorship!!!

Anything that whitens teeth in one fell swoop without visiting the dentist (sorry, Mr. OHMommy, I have never had a real cavity and am terrified for the day I do) is fine by me!

As usual, perfect shots!

All I have to say is it's an honor being censored by you.
