Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

And we are back.

"That was the BEST vacation. Ever." Jay exploded on the plane.

"Yes. The BEST, ever!" Lola reaffirmed.

This morning we had a 4:30am wake up call in Warsaw (10:30pm EST time). We flew to Paris and made it into Cleveland at 9:00pm European time, but in Cleveland it was 3:00pm in the afternoon. We have been on the go for just over 17 hours and I assumed the kids would be asleep by 4pm, perhaps even 5pm. For sure by 6pm (midnight in Warsaw).

They are rock stars. All three of them. As soon as we got home, Jay raced to the stereo and pumped out some tunes. They raided our pantry for some "Cleveland" food and had a party before their baths.

Rock stars. I tell you.

They were awesome travelers. Each city we visited soon became their new favorite. As we said goodbye to cities and villages some tears were shed. We road planes, trains, and automobiles through four city changes and not one tantrum surfaced.

The kids are asleep and it is nearly 2am in Warsaw and only 8pm here. In Cleveland. And this mother of rock star travelers is editing over 800 pictures and slowly uploading onto an album. No, I won't bore you with all 800. However, I will chronologically document our trip.

First stop. Paris. And our ride in a French ambulance.

I just showed my husband these pictures and said, "look - these kids went to Europe with their parents." His response was, "I don't think that this would be a good idea for us." (actually said something completely different - but that's my PG translation)

Looks like a great trip - look forward to hearing more.

I loved seeing your vacation pictures ! Paris does look amazing. how did you ever plan a trip to vacation there? That is always something I dream of doing but chicken out because I'm afraid I'd be booked in a horrorific hotel. Did you use a travel agency or did you do it all on your own? Amazingly beautiful children btw !
