returning emails LATE at night

From: OHmommy
To: Kelly

OMG! Congrats on your new baby boy. YAY, you had a boy!!!! Seriously, he is one of the cutest newborns I have ever seen. It is surreal seeing you with a baby... it seems like just yesterday that we were at Murphy's Irish Pub singing the night away at Karaoke.

Yay. You read my mind. THANKS for this post.

Now tell me. What the heck did I do wrong with my photo shop action on my castle post... the picture of me with the kiddos?!? The sky looks super duper crazy with the Pioneer woman's boost action. I can't stand it when I fail at something. Help?

From: OHmommy
To: Shutterfly

No! It would not be possible for me to ask all of my visitors to log onto shutterfly to become members. Likewise, I do not want to add a password. I just want to share my PHOTOBOOK with my readers to show what I can do on shutterfly. This is FREE advertising for you.

Can you please give me the email address of someone that works in PR?

Warmly,
OHmommy

From: OHmommy
To: Meg

Yay! I love checking in on you and Matt. Are you guys ready to host the OHfamily perhaps sometime this winter? Would love nothing more than to trade in Ohio's snow for the AZ sun. Let me know and we will make it happen. The kids still talk about you all the time, you made a huge impression on them the last time you were in Cleveland.

xoxoxo,
P

To: Tootsie Farklepants

You are so freaking funny. I read you every morning and your humor blows me away and I just stare at your comment box and say, "Wow, she is funny...."

From: OHmommy
To: Mr. OHmommy

Seriously? Who in the world paints their dental office walls a RED? Red... a color that well... stimulates. Do you want a stimulated patient in your chair? Please, disregard what people say about that color. They. Have. No. Idea. Seriously, red is a nice color for a car. That is all.

Forever yours,
P

No. You weren't mean at all. You were quite honest and for that I am thankful. I appreciate brutal honesty. I have to agree with you, traveling with three young children to Mali would not be so much fun. The flight says it is 19 hours of travel. GAH! Let's reschedule for when the kids are in high school. Not a day goes by that we don't mention your name. We miss you!!!

Love.
P

From: OHmommy
To: Jennifer

No. Fitness boot camp is not fun at all. My husband will not let me quit since we paid for 6 weeks of it. Dammit. I hurt so bad and it is so flipping dark at 5:30 am in the morning I feel like a freak driving the streets. I blame all of my physical pain on you. Kidding. Thank you very much. Ouch!

Later,
P

From: OHmommy
To: my online friend

Geesh.. . I can't even imagine what you are going through. Just know that people should treat you like the princess you are. Listen to your heart.

xoxxoxo,
P

From: OHmommy
To: my BFF

Holy Guacamole. . You. Are. Prego!!!! OMG!?!

I still can not even register that, I can not wait to hold Little MO in my arms and smother the baby with kisses. I told the kiddos that you "have a seed in your tummy" and they are so happy and would like to name the baby either Clara or Clara. Lola loves that name.

xoxoxoxoxox,
P

From: OHmommy
To: my neighbors

Yes, both Lola and Jay will be at the party tomorrow and no we will not bring the baby. Trust me, you do not want the baby there. Bad idea, she is a wild banshee of a toddler who need serious amounts of discipline before being re-introduced to the public.

Warmly,
P

Ok, so this was fun to read!

Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your emails. And yes, traveling with three kids to Mali would be borderline insane! But I am sure that you all miss her too! :)

Hi

I really liked reading your post about your polish roots as I am myself half polish half french maried with a mexican and having 3 kids ( 2 born in Texas, one in France), speaking 3 languages at home ;-) Really, it does work out !!! lol

Do you speak polish to your children? Giving roots to our difficult as they mostly feel they are from the country thay are raised in. Only a parent can give them that feeling they belong to different places ....

I'll be back

Too funny!!! Man, you are busy on the computer. Half the time, I have to wait a week to respond to my emails and I don't even get THAT many. :)

I could NOT go to a dentist that has red walls. I see enough red in the examining room. Every time I go to the dentist it's a bloodbath!

I would prefer to be blamed for (um, I mean thanked) for any physical pain you're feeling in 12 weeks as we troll Nordstrom for teeny little tops to go w/ your cute jeans or stilletos...

P stands for Polish, right? :)

Great post.

What a fun post!

Definitely good advice on the red walls at a DENTISTS OFFICE?!?! Not a good idea! I think he needs some calming and serene colors...

I am disappointed for you about your trip to Mali. (What a great blog entry that could be.) I say let's find a sitter for all of our kids and I will go there with you.

(My shoes may embarass you, but I am a great traveler.)

It's like you broke into my email outbox. Okay, it's not, but still, change the names and the colours around, and it's like I'm channeling you (late at night).

Oh - tell Mr OhDentist that red walls would make people think of BLOOD! That is the last thing people want to envision while sitting in a dentist chair!

Trust me, I am a big baby! :)

Mama Smurf said...

What a fun idea!

Tell hubby to purchase some chandeliers to hang over the chairs to go along with the red walls. Think brothel.

Karen MEG said...

I cannot imagine how many e:mails you get ;).

I was just at the dentist last week and I couldn't tell you what color the walls were because all I heard was "deep cleaning" and "anesthesia" and "two visits".

Mali? 19 hours with three kids may put you in the crazy ward!!!!!!!

And red is scary! LOL!!!!! Makes me think of blood!

Lisa said...

That was fun reading! Although...I like red on walls. Just saying ;)

PS - going to the dentist this morning to get a cavity filled. And although I love red walls, I'm glad my dentist office isn't red.

ha, that was hilarious.

You can soooo do a trip with the kids. Trust me. I just did 18.5 hours from the U.S. via another country to Australia with twin toddlers and a teenager by myself. It's not as bad as you think. Just discuss it with yourself for a moment and weigh your pros and cons ha ha.
