"... And lead us not into temptation; and deliver us to evil."
"What did you say, Lola?"
"... And lead us not into temptation; and deliver us to evil." She repeated.
"Come again, gorgeous." I asked her as I tucked her in for the night.
This comes from the girl that ...
pretended to be the Virgin Mary all afternoon long by tossing on a blue baby blanket over her head, after her preschool Christmas pageant at school. She even went as far as to stuff the baby Jesus inside of her Hannah Montana t-shirt and waddle to her manger (aka pink princess pop-up tent in our basement).
Heh. Of late, she has done more pretending as the Virgin Mary then as Ariel. Perhaps she knows that her judgment day is coming.

It is CLEARLY evident that Lola is on cloud nine every time she believes she is either a
1) Princess
2) Mother
Atleast we know she can achieve one of her dreams later on, albeitm probably not by immaculate conception. The look on her fice is priceless. I love her so much. What a piece of work.
How cute!
When asked the true meaning of Christmas my 4 year old indicated the it is really Baby Jesus' birthday - the day that Santa Claus took Baby Jesus out of his Mommy's Tummy...and apparently, the doctor that delivered all three of my children was also there to help.
So cute! When Spiderman says Grace, he says "Let us thank US for our food". lol!
how cute!
P.S. I hope my email didn't freak you out or anything.
HUGS!
Priceless!
Well, OBVIOUSLY she has a knack for The Arts.
What a SWEET picture! Christmas card worthy...
I think I love Lola more and more each day. Must be that middle child connection...
She is so cute!! At least she understands there is more to Christmas the Santa and gifts!! She makes a beautiful Mary!!
Happy Holidays!
Lisa
The only reason she likes to play at being those things (Mother, Princess) is because of the excellent example she has to follow.
That is too cute.. and she is very very aware.. hhehehe
flipping classic. all of your children are fabulous, but it will be Lola who wins you a trip down the red carpet some day!
Out of the mouth of babes!
She looks adorable, as always, in the picture. Very sweet that she is focusing on the true meaning of Christmas.
But she's so cute as the little virgin mary...at least she's not asking where the baby comes from! :)

So cute...so does that mean for Christmas she's getting a donkey and some myrrh?
By the way, do you like crafts much?
Aww. She is such a cutie. And she makes such a pretty Mary. :)
That is SO adorable. Beyond adorable. I love it. Pregnant Mary with a Hannah Montana shirt. hehe Giving birth in a pop-up tent. You gotta love their imagination.
My boys just fight wars all the time. It's exhausting getting caught in crossfire all day.
Hmmmm...there has to be a message in there somewhere;P
How sweet! Very creative!
he-he-he! You love her, evil little doings and all. ;)
Oh, that is HILARIOUS! At least it's Jesus she's got in her arms...she's on the right track!
Do you think she'll want to get her feet washed on Holy Thursday next?
It is bad that I am laughing REALLY hard that she was pseudo-preggo underneath her HANNAH MONTANA t-shirt?
That picture is too sweet...
This is adorable. Peanut like her "Jesu" books better known as the Bible. Sarah is starting to pray on her own. The religious milestones they make is incredible. I love the picture.
OMG, that is priceless! I love it. She is such a cutie :-) I wonder if it's an age thing, last weekend my four year old was totally dressing up as Jesus. He said he wanted a birthday cake for his "birthday" on Christmas morning!!
Bwhahaha! Deliver us to evil...I think she's going to be a two fisted martini drinker when she grows up...with a mean passion for a pair of stilletto's of course, just like her mama! :)
Soooo cute!
That is precious. And I love when I see a child "playing" religion. Exposing it to them early helps them to not hate it when they get exposed to it as a teen. Good job, classy mom.
How beautiful, gotta love baby Jesus adorned in a Hannah Montana shirt- the innocence of it all!
HA - cute!! great photo!
Girl, Boo was a wise man in his school pageant. He ran around yelling that he was king of the Jews.
Our kids need to get together.
Lola is just sweetness personified. Baby Jesus is VERY special to be swaddled in Hannah Montana ;).
Great photo!
Awwwwwww, such a sweet picture! All you need in that picture is a lamb!
i believe that Lola definitely knows the big day is coming up :-)
'Deliver us to evil' LOVE IT!! She's so darling.
hilarious.
but maybe she meant she wanted to be delivered to a daredevil motorcycle rider? hey, mr. knievel needs love too. ;-)
Too cute. She looks absolutely precious.
adorable!!
my littlest guy goes to our synagogue for preschool. and when he comes home...every night...he won't let us eat until we say the 'baruch"...which is the blessing before a meal. and he brutally murders the prayer. but he does it with such passion and he gets mad if we laugh. it's so cute!!!
have an awesome christmas honey!!
