This is the house that OHmommy built. *
This is the poptart
That lays (on 1000 thread count sheets) in the house that OHmommy built.
This is the child,
That ate the poptart
That lays in the house that OHmommy built.
This is the Lego droid,
That slipped the child,
That ate the poptart
That lays in the house that OHmommy built.
This is the dirty door,
That stood by the Lego droid,
That slipped the child,
That ate the poptart
That lays in the house that OHmommy built.
This is the mom with the crumpled paper towel,
That cleaned the dirty door,
That stood by the Lego droid,
That slipped the child,
That ate the poptart
That lays in the house that OHmommy built.
This is the hurt child all forlorn,
That cried to the mom with the crumpled paper towel,
That cleaned the dirty door,
That stood by the Lego droid,
That slipped the child,
That ate the poptart
That lays in the house that OHmommy built.

Oh dear, poor thing!! I saw your tweet!! Those Legos are so troublesome!
Yikes.. awh baby girl.. And I have those things laying all over the house..
{hugs} to you both..
That made my heart stop a little. But what a way to tell a story. It reminded me of "The Napping House", but with more action.
The House That Jack Built was and is one of my most favorite children books from my childhood. ooh....and about that sweetness with the goose egg, so sorry!!
Ouch! I hope Fifi feels better soon!
Poor baby - We have those leggos all around..I hate when I step on them...ugh!
~K
Oh no! Poor girl (and probably right before Christmas pictures!)
Hope that egg goes down...whatta lump!
this has got to be the cutest thing I've read all night.
and ouch.
Oww.
Poor Fifi!! Those legos will get you everytime!!
She is so adorable...hope her little bump is feeling better!!
I can't say that I have had poptart in my bed, but I have had goldfish crumbs thanks to a certain little two year old!!
Goddammit, Ohmommmy, you rock my socks, woman.
Awww, poor thang!!
I love the way that you told the story-adorable!!!
Uh, I hate them stupid tiny tony...stepping on them is the worst, I feel so bad Fifi.
My Lu had an almost identical goose egg on her head! No fun!!!
OMG. What a bump.
Oh no! Not pop-tart on the comforter!!! But she's sooo cute! How can you be mad at her???
Oh dear, that IS a goose egg. I hope she is feeling better soon.
At least you already have your Christmas pictures done! :)
kisses to fifi!
Ouch! Poor doodle bug! (And yet I can't help but think, "I hope some day we can afford 1000TC sheets...")
Ouch! Poor doodle bug! (And yet I can't help but think, "I hope some day we can afford 1000TC sheets...")
I heard Santa feels sorry for little girls with big bumps on their heads and leaves them extra presents under the tree.
It's just what I've heard.
(I may take some grey eyeshadow to my forehead this year to test out this extra present theory...)
I love that first picture of Fifi, the look on her face is priceless! Poor thing. :(
Awww...Fifi's poor little noggin! Now that is a goose egg. And I'm not 100% sure, but it doesn't look like she ingested much of that Pop Tart. Thank Heaven for OHMommy and paper towels :)!
holy cow! When chicken first got one of those (as my second child NEVER got a goose egg), I almost ran him to the ER. i tried to relax, but wound up calling my pediatrician instead. Thank goodness for wonderful doctors who calmed me down!
BTW, I've got a Twilight giveaway on my website if you're interested going on until thursday. Just FYI for everyone here. ;oD
poor baby, that looks like it hurts! I hope she is all better soon!
Oh my gosh! Poor thing!
Oh my! That's quite a goose egg! Dang Lego droids!!
Fun post (although not fun that toddler is injured...)
You are so clever. :)
Holy goose egg, batman!
Isn't it amazing how resilient these kids are? If that happened to me, I'd be writhing for weeks. :)
Wowwie Owwie! My arms actually felt limp when I saw that picture! So, I can't imagine how you felt!
I am so over pop-tarts! I have one spot on the carpet, where a certain little someone smashed them into the carpet. Very creative post!
This post was so cute, but the goose egg is NOT! Poor baby. hugs & kisses!
Oh no, a goose egg! Well, toddlerhood would not be complete without at least one of those.
I hope you survived ok. :)
The house that loved built!
Now that's at about my reading level----and pictures too! :))
Neat way to tell such an adventurous story. I am sorry about fifi's goose egg. Pookie had one of those when she was two. I was hold her and washing her hands at the mall and as I reached over to get a paper towel she slipped and bam. A big goose egg popped up. We rushed her to the hospital because she was like a limp noodle and they thought she had a mild concussion. They said it would spread down her face into one big ugly bruise but it didn't.
I have cheerios laying all over our house. They seem to just want to jump right out of the bowl.

Oh poor thing, that is a bad one, ouch! Extra hugs for Miss Fifi today. :)
Loved your story telling, reminded me of one of my kids' all time favorites, The Napping House.
Love it!
That poptart in the bed would send my hubby into fits...
Poor baby girl...look at that bump! Still a beauty though! Apparently we have to be careful of those Legos :)
Wow that truly is one mother of a goose egg. I hope she's feeling better.
I'm glad The Boy finally outgrew Legos. I cannot tell you how many I've stepped on or sucked up in the vacuum. I hope Fifi is okay.
Poor thing! She is one tough cookie because that is a pretty big goose egg! I think toddlers are drawn to these accident prone objects in a room! Jonah always finds them! I will tell you that pop tarts in the bed on 1000 thread count sheets is much better than finding your 18 month old drawing with a pen on your 1000 thread count sheets which is what Jonah did! But if these things didn't happen what in the world we we blog about?? ;) Hope Fifi feels better soon!
Now there's a nursery rhyme that I finally understand!! Those droids are slippery little buggers (and painful as hell when stepped on!).
oh poor dear wee one!
I was thinking of The Napping House as I was reading this!
Hope she feels better!
Oh my! Poor girl.
I'm glad it looks like she isn't being bothered by it.
Fabulous post!!!!!!
and look at that bump. OW!!!!
Awwww, poor baby!! I used to freeze my lips - kissing those sorts of things to make them better. I used ice cubes and I would hold them to my lips and then kiss the owey on the forehead of the child in question - because they always hated the ice directly on the bump - but they would always take a kiss. Makes my lips cold just looking at her bump.
Yowch! Poor baby... and YOU my dear, are sooo WITTY! :D
Ahhh, poor baby!
Very classy and creative post though! {applause}

Is it wrong that there is a whole generation of us parents that run for the digital camera instead if the ice pack when our kids get hurt?????
What a goose egg!!!
But I do like that Lego picture. Cool.
love your new layout! that goose egg looks tough! poor fifi:) happy turkey day!
Poor darling. Saw your tweet & love the post! I know the first thing I do (when everyone is confirmed to be OK of course) is run toget the camera! You are NOT alone.
Very cute!
Man, that is a good sized goose egg. Poor girl. Love the story!
Poor baby- what a lump! Give it a BIG kiss! :)
That you've got 1000 thread count sheets...
Had to see what the tweet was about. You have me in stitches. You are just too darn clever. Seriously. Loved it.
WHAT a goose egg - poor little sweetie, that must have hurt. Lego is everywhere here, too, wreaking havoc.
Poptarts. Mm mm.
OUCH! That hurts to look at! Hope you already have your Christmas card photo:)
Kim
Holy OUCH!
Oh, and I LOVE your lovely prose.
Lego's hurt. I've lost count of the number of them that I've accidentally stood on.
What a fabulous way to tell this story.
Oh, yikes, that's a bad one! Poor baby. But, it made for an awesome post, so it was worth it, right? ;)
Aww, that poor thing! But this was BRILLIANT! And Pop Tart crumbs in bed are a staple around this house.
that was an awesome post! :)
Don;t tell me about legos! it is an every day war round here! :)
Awesome! I mean in a creatively written awesome way, not that goose egg. Although as far as goose eggs go, that is pretty awesome.
KEEP BELIEVING
Ouch! That's no fun. I hope all is better soon.
